| Our field is unique in that it was the pit area for a race car test track. For that reason, flyers at the Midland field can take off and land from just about any direction. The dimensions of our field are as follows (and are close approximations, depending upon the placement of our safety fence): Pit Area: 50' x 115' East/West Runway: 250' NW/SE or NE/SW Diagonals: 350' North/South: 185'** **Takeoff due South is permitted; however, landing from due North or taking off due North is not permitted because no flying is allowed North of the pit area. |
